Upper Clear Creek Watershed

The Upper Sacramento River Watershed is located along the Sacramento River from Shasta Dam to the top of Mount Shasta in Shasta and Siskiyou Counties. It encompasses the towns of Lakehead, Dunsmuir, Mount Shasta, and Lamoine. The river runs 36 miles between Lake Siskiyou and Shasta Lake.

Lower Clear Creek Watershed

Clear Creek is split in two at Whiskeytown Dam, eight miles west of Redding in Shasta County. Lower Clear Creek starts at the dam and flows 18 miles in a southerly direction, terminating six miles south of Redding where it enters the Sacramento River. The community of Girvan lies just within the watershed.
